
PARTNERSHIP FOR A GREEN FUTURE
On 27 of January 2026, by the initiative of the International university of tourism and entrepreneurship of Tajikistan and the Research Institute for sustainable development and green economy for foreign partners was held an online presentation on theme “Partnership for a green future”.
The main goal of this event was to present the Republic of Tajikistan, the International university of tourism and entrepreneurship of Tajikistan and also about the activities of the Research Institute for sustainable development and green economy as open and promising platforms for international academic and scientific cooperation in the field of sustainable development and the green economy.
Within the scope of the event, doctor of political science, professor Zulfiya Kurbonzoda – vice-rector for strategic development and quality management, candidate of law, associate-professor Gulshan Bodurova – deputy director on international relations and project management of the Research Institute for sustainable development and green economy and candidate of historical sciences Umedjon Majidi – head of the department of international relations and green diplomacy delivered informative presentations.
In their performances, the participants presented the Republic of Tajikistan, the International university of tourism and entrepreneurship of Tajikistan and the Research Institute for sustainable development and green economy at a high level of content and presentation and generating significant interest from international participants. Particular attention was paid to the importance of international partnerships, scientific exchange and joint projects for advancing sustainable development and environmentally oriented initiatives.
Representatives of international educational and scientific institutions, including experts from Germany, China, Russia, Kyrgyzstan and other countries participated in the event. The international participants emphasized their interest in Tajikistan as a promising partner to science, education and the green economy.
At the end of event, the participants noted the importance of such initiatives for strengthening international relations, exchange of experience and formation long-term collaboration between universities and scientific-research centers.
