Gulshan Bodurova is the Deputy Director for International Relations and Project Management of the Research Institute for Sustainable Development and Green Economy of the International University of Tourism and Entrepreneurship of Tajikistan, PhD in Law, associate professor. Since 2014, she has been actively engaged in research of international law, sustainable development, and environmental security.

Her main areas of research are private international law, public international law, European law, and international environmental law. In her research, she focuses on the legal aspects of sustainable development as a fundamental principle of international environmental regulation, and also studies environmental security issues in the context of interstate and domestic legal mechanisms.

Gulshan Bodurova is the author of two monographs, four textbooks, and over 60 academic publications on international law, cross-border regulation and legal sustainability. Her work has received recognition both within the academic community of Tajikistan and beyond.

As Deputy Director for International Relations and Project Management, Gulshan Bodurova coordinates the development and implementation of the Institute’s international strategy and and leads initiatives aimed at expanding cooperation in research, education, and innovation. She also fosters sustainable partnerships with foreign academic and research institutions, international organizations, foundations, government bodies, and diplomatic missions.

Among the key areas of her professional activity are:

strategic planning and support for international research projects;
establishing and maintaining international academic collaboration and partnerships;
coordinating the Institute’s participation in international grants, technical and scientific assistance programs;
developing networks in the field of sustainable development and the green economy;
organizing international conferences, forums, workshops and internships;
representing the institute at international venues, forums, negotiations and high-level events, among others.

With her highly professional background and strategic approach to international cooperation, Gulshan Bodurova makes a significant contribution to strengthening the institute’s international image and developing its project activities at the regional and global levels.
