PARTICIPATION OF THE INSTITUTE’S LEADERSHIP IN A SCIENTIFIC AND PRACTICAL CONFERENCE ON “DEVELOPMENT OF ENTREPRENEURSHIP AND THE PRIVATE SECTOR AS A KEY FACTOR IN ACHIEVING TAJIKISTAN’S STRATEGIC DEVELOPMENT GOALS”
On 18 June 2025, a scientific and practical conference titled “Development of Entrepreneurship and the Private Sector as a Key Factor in Achieving the Strategic Development Goals of the Republic of Tajikistan” was held at the Center for Strategic Research under the President of the Republic of Tajikistan. The purpose of the event was to analyze and assess issues related to the development of entrepreneurship and the private sector and to identify solutions to other existing challenges in this field. The conference brought together representatives of ministries and agencies, banking specialists, researchers from academic and educational institutions, sector experts, private sector representatives, and journalists.
The conference was opened with introductory remarks by the First Deputy Director of the Center for Strategic Research under the President of the Republic of Tajikistan, Candidate of Economic Sciences and Associate Professor Oraz Murtazozoda, who welcomed participants and noted that entrepreneurship and private sector development – given their important role in addressing the country’s socio-economic challenges and increasing the state budget – have been identified as one of the priority directions of national economic policy.
Subsequently, the following speakers delivered presentations: Amin Ibrohim Odinazoda, Head of the CSR Department for Analysis and Forecasting of Entrepreneurship and Private Sector Issues, Candidate of Economic Sciences, on “Development of Manufacturing Entrepreneurship as a Key Factor in Achieving Strategic Goals”; Farhod Razzoq Sharofzoda, Doctor of Economic Sciences and Professor, Director of the State Institution “Research Institute for Sustainable Development and Green Economy” under the International University of Tourism and Entrepreneurship of Tajikistan, on “Entrepreneurship Development in the Context of the Emerging Green Economy”; Saodat Jurakhonzoda, Candidate of Economic Sciences and Deputy Director of the Center for Strategic Research, on “The Role of Entrepreneurship in the Development of Productive Employment”; Muhammadnasim Roziqov, Acting Deputy Director General of the State Unitary Enterprise “Tojinvest,” on “Investment Opportunities in the Republic of Tajikistan”; and Nekruy Zabirzoda, Head of the Department for Entrepreneurship Support at the State Committee for Investment and State Property Management of the Republic of Tajikistan, on “Analysis of the Business and Investment Climate in the Country and Ways to Improve It.” Other participants also delivered presentations in accordance with the program and provided satisfactory answers to questions from the audience. Afterwards, participants shared useful reflections and views regarding the presentations.
